Pam Allen

Pam is the founder and CEO of MED-ED, a company well-regarded among nurses for its 30-year history of excellence in continuing education. She is best known for her extensive knowledge in the interpretation of ECG rhythms and 12-Leads and her national and international presentations of the subject. Pam’s expertise in rhythms and 12-Leads, along with an in-depth knowledge of cardiology, results from more than 20 years of experience in cardiac intensive care units. This includes four years of practice with Dr. Henry J.L. Marriott, the well-known electro-cardiologist, lecturer and author. She has presented at numerous conferences on ECG interpretation as well as pulmonary embolism and various aspects of hemodynamic monitoring. She is also the author of the popular Rhythms and 12-Leads Pocket Guide. Pam's ability to make complex concepts easy to grasp as well as her easy interaction with the audience helps to make her seminars an enjoyable and worthwhile learning experience. Pam is a member of the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN), the Association of Nursing Professional Development (ANPD) and the American Nurses Association (ANA).
