Lisa has practiced in the healthcare field with a focus on rehabilitation for over 35 years and has held a CRRN certification since 1984. Her clinical experience includes providing care in teaching hospitals and multi-hospital systems, as well as small rural hospitals. She has held numerous positions that include educator, regional director, clinical manager and consultant. Lisa applies her passion for teaching along with her in-depth knowledge of rehabilitation to assist other rehabilitation nurses in earning their own certifications. Nurses who have attended her comprehensive rehabilitation review course give Lisa high marks for knowledge and a relaxed teaching style that makes complex information easy to grasp. Lisa has been an invited presenter at regional, national and international conferences on a broad spectrum of topics that include team building, communication and rehabilitation.
