This two-day program provides a clinical review of common medical-surgical issues, including current treatments and interventions that the med-surg nurse encounters on a daily basis. Medical-surgical nurses touch the lives of many patients in many different environments. Shared experiences and lessons learned are evident throughout the seminar, with a primary focus on sharing knowledge that is relevant for bedside practice and beyond. Easy-to-remember tips help understanding and build confidence in sorting out the various scenarios encountered.
This program prepares the learner to:
Sign-in begins at 7:30 am. Each day includes a one-hour lunch (on your own), as well as a morning and afternoon break of 15 minutes each. The order of lectures presented and break times may vary according to speaker preference.
