Lori A. Bailey

CREDENTIALS: PhD, RN, CCRN, CMSRN, CNE

Dr. Lori Bailey has been in the critical and acute care environments for nearly 15 years. She has worked at the bedside as an educator and in a supervisory role. She has a broad range of experiences and is able to bring her stories into the classroom. Currently, Lori can be found in the ICU of a critical-access hospital.

Lori is a member of several nursing organizations. She has been a long-time member of the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses and has served as a CE article reviewer, past chapter president (Emerald Coast Chapter) and as AACN ambassador. She is also active in Sigma Theta Tau and the National League for Nursing. She holds critical care, medical/surgical and nurse educator certifications, as well as a PhD in nursing education from the University of Northern Colorado.

Lori’s passion is education. She is a full-time faculty member at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. She brings into the classroom a genuine passion for the role of educator, along with a sense of humor, a wealth of knowledge and valuable experiences.
