Catherine’s nursing career spans over 40 years in clinical, leadership and educator roles. The operating room, perioperative services and procedural departments have consistently been the bulk of her work and experience areas for at least 30 years, beginning as a scrub and circulating nurse, then venturing into leadership and teaching.

Her earliest career work included direct patient care as a certified nursing assistant (CNA) and licensed vocational nurse (LVN).

Catherine has recently instructed nursing students in academia as an associate-degree in nursing (AND) professor and mentor to new graduate RN's.

Teaching new and evolving staff into their roles has been a great fit and joy for her at this juncture of her nursing adventure and journey.
