Pamela Harris-Haman

CREDENTIALS: DNP, CRNP, NNP-BC

Dr. Harris-Haman’s work as a nurse practitioner involves state and regional policy development, nursing and provider education and patient care management, along with implementing and evaluating standards of care and protocols. She focuses on preparing nurses to work as a team to provide quality care and improve outcomes. She serves as a neonatal nurse practitioner at Geisinger Holy Spirit Hospital in Camp Hill, PA, and an adjunct clinical faculty member at Messiah College and Thomas Jefferson University, both also in Pennsylvania. She currently serves as the president of Nurse Practitioners of Central Pennsylvania and section editor for Advances in Neonatal Care and is a Duke-Johnson & Johnson Nursing Leadership Program fellow. In addition, Dr. Harris-Haman has developed programs to train nurses and community health workers in low-resource settings and hospitals in Kenya, recently joining with Moi University to develop a neonatal nurse practitioner program there. Her work is dedicated to improving patient outcomes for the NICU population and their families.
