Sharon Clevenger

CREDENTIALS: MA, MSN, PMHCNS-BC, CARN-AP

Sharon serves as the CEO of the Indiana Center for Cognitive Behavior Therapy in Fort Wayne, IN. As an integrative psychiatric nurse practitioner, she combines cognitive therapy, psychopharmacology, nutrition and complementary approaches. She also serves as an adjunct faculty member at Indiana/Purdue Universities, previously served on the board of directors for the International Association for Cognitive Psychotherapy, was co-investigator for the DSM-5(r) field trials and a past president of the NAADAC, the Association for Addiction Professionals. She is experienced in inpatient, outpatient, clinical research and consultation-liaison psychiatry, along with serving as a mentor in psychiatry for medical residents at the University of Pennsylvania. Sharon has lectured on cognitive behavior therapy, psychopharmacology and integrative treatments in psychiatry and has authored texts on the treatment of stress disorders in civilian and military/law enforcement. Sharon earned her BSN from Purdue University, her MA in counseling psychology from the Adler School of Professional Psychology in Chicago and her MSN from the University of Pennsylvania.
