Noreen Peyatt

CREDENTIALS: MSN-ED, RN-BC, APRN, ACNS-BC

Noreen O'Connor Peyatt is currently a clinical nurse specialist at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta. She holds ANCC certifications in pain management nursing and nursing professional development and has over 25 years of clinical experience in pain management. She combines years of nursing experience with her extensive background and knowledge of pain management to promote quality care at the bedside. She also mentors nurses, nursing students and resident staff in the principles and art of pain management.

Noreen is a sought-after speaker at both the state and national levels. She is a regular guest speaker at the local colleges of nursing on the topic of pain management and has participated in pain management research, publishing articles in both nursing and anesthesia journals. Recently, Noreen authored a chapter on pain management in cardiac surgery essentials. Additionally, she recently served as a member of a national advisory council for multimodal analgesia. She has a passion for pain management and an enthusiasm to share that passion with other healthcare professionals so that, one patient at a time, nurses can comfort always.
