Janeane L. Walker

CREDENTIALS: MSN, RN, CPN, CCRN

Janeane Walker is certified in both pediatrics and pediatric critical care nursing. She received her BA from Hofstra University in New York, her BSN from Washington Adventist University in Maryland and her MSN from the University of Phoenix. Ms. Walker has spoken nationally and locally on various subject matters including “Family Presence During Resuscitation, Traumatic Brain Injury, Vasoactive Therapy and Congenital Heart Disease.”

Ms. Walker currently serves as a Clinical Educator at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, Georgia. Prior to that she served as the Advanced Education Specialist Liaison for critical care at All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida, and for several years she served as the Pediatric Professional Practice Specialist at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, D.C. for the cardiac and pediatric intensive care units.

Janeane enjoys teaching and learning many topics in critical care. Her passion for education is evident through her energy, presentation style and her ability to engage the audience. She enjoys the challenge of working at the bedside, dedicating herself to helping others in the care of the critically ill child. Janeane considers it a privilege to share her expertise and experiences with other healthcare professionals.
