Vivien Mudgett

CREDENTIALS: MA, MSN, RNC

Vivien Mudgett is a seasoned healthcare executive with over 30 years of experience. She holds a Masters in Human Resource Development and an MSN from Western Michigan University. She is currently enrolled in a DNP program at Rutgers University.

While Vivien has worked in almost every area of nursing during her career, she has a special place in her heart for Women’s and Children’s Health. Her love of this specialty shines through every time she teaches a class in this area. She started as a Labor and Delivery RN as a new grad, and spent over 20 years working in labor and delivery, post-partum, antepartum, nursery and high risk obstetrics.

Her authenticity as a leader in the industry is further strengthened by being an active member in many national organizations, including The American Organization of Nurse Executives and the American Nurses Association, as well as the Honor Society of Sigma Theta Tau. She is also an active member of AWHONN and has spoken at many district meetings.

Vivien travels nationwide to share her knowledge and insight on many crucial and relevant subjects in healthcare today with healthcare professionals. Her speaking engagements have become a must for anyone in the industry, due to her engaging style, her informative content and her humor.
