Dana Duke-Cuello

CREDENTIALS: MSN, RN, CMSRN, ATCN

Dana serves as a clinical nurse III in the heart failure/thoracic surgery/observation unit at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA, and an adjunct faculty clinical instructor at Drexel University College of Nursing and Health Professions, also in Philadelphia. She has experiences in long-term care, long-term acute care, medical-surgical nursing/ortho/trauma and heart failure. Dana received her baccalaureate in nursing from La Salle University in Philadelphia and her MSN in leadership and management along with a post-masters certificate in nursing education from Walden University in Minneapolis, MN. Dana has her medical-surgical nurse certification from the Academy of Medical-Surgical Nurses (AMSN) and her Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses certification from the Society of Trauma Nurses (STN). As immediate past chair and co-chair of the Cultural Competence Committee at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, Dana organizes numerous events as part of the “Lunch and Learn” continuing education series program. She continues to serve as mentor to the new committee chair. Several times a year, Dana enjoys presenting at the University of Pennsylvania hospital-wide nursing orientation.
