Beth Grace RN, BSN, CEN, CCRN

Beth began her nursing career in 1987, starting in the Burn Intensive Care unit in Galveston, Texas, and then moved to the Shriners Burn Institute. She was a transport team flight nurse and assisted in the transportation of children from all over the US and Central America back to Shriners for treatment. Beth became an instructor in Advanced Burn Life Support, and participated in education and safety awareness for the local community.

After crosstraining in the ER of a Level One Trauma Center in Houston, Beth then moved on to Surgical ICU and the PACU. She has been a Nurse Manager, Nurse Educator, an ACLS instructor, and Nurse Advocate. She has also worked in the PACU, Day Surgery and Endoscopy settings where she has developed processes for improving patient care, safety and outcomes.

Beth currently works PRN in ER, Interventional Radiology and ICU of a community hospital. She collaborated with several anesthesiologists on a safe and efficient conscious sedation procedure that is now being used by local hospitals.
