Jeanine Penberthy MSN, RN, CGRN
Jeanine provides consulting and training services to gastrointestinal nurses and institutions. She has been responsible for teaching and maintaining competencies in basic and advanced endoscopic procedures and has established a training/research center for endoscopic procedures. She has had the opportunity to teach and act as coordinator for courses throughout the US and Canada. Jeanine has worked in GI/Endoscopy for 14 years and has been certified in GI nursing for 11 years.
Jeanine is an active member of the Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates (SGNA), serving at the national and regional levels. Her past positions with SGNA include the National Nominations and Elections Committee, Website Committee chair, Practice Committee, Education Committee and regional President. She is currently the Rocky Mountain SGNA Communication Committee chair. Jeanine is also a peer reviewer for the Gastroenterology Nursing Journal.
